Weekend Update

Sale PSA: A bunch of Prada just dropped on the Outnet (which is awesome as they aren’t even on NAP USA anymore!), fun crystal sandals from Tory Burch, now 30% off, and Madewell currently has 25% off everything (I like these low platform mules).

1. This week, sharing these great loafers from Hereu.

I love these loafers! They are sleek and classic. I also kind of feel that this is one of those instances where Matches has a “European” price on an item and it’d be more expensive in the US. Maybe I’m wrong. But I love them!

2. I thought this interview with Law Roach, via The Cut, on his announced retirement, was really interesting. So many insights (and juicy bits). I read and bookmarked to re-read later.

3. I loved this piece, via the NYT, on 83 year old knitwear sensation Delia Barry.

4. I read this piece, via Bustle, on the women who won’t give up their Thinx with interest. I read those articles and love my Thinx too (but haven’t used them since). Any

5. This week, I read Marrying The Ketchups, by Jennifer Close.

I liked this! It was really witty – I picked it up on a whim. Close’s writing is really clever and quite honestly better than a lot of the “literary” fiction out there. Very fun read about a family that operates a restaurant. If you’re looking for a charming, easy read, I highly recommend Marrying The Ketchups.

FYI, there’s a lawsuit out right now about Thinx.

Oh, this book looks right up my alley. Will check it out pronto. Also, I’ve now read the entire output of Andrew Sean Greer! Thanks so much for recommending him.
Loved the article about the knitter from Ireland and also, very much loved Banshees of Inisherin. The costuming was brilliant with my favorite being the clothing choices for the sister.
