Weekend Update

Sale PSA: Chaco sport sandals in brown, now $50, a very cute striped tee from Saint James, now 40% off, and a linen short sleeve shirt from Everlane, now between $38 and $52.

1. This week, sharing these Prada sandals I cannot bring myself to purchase, but which I visit weekly.

First issue is the price of course. But I love these! They are like silver spaceships on the feet. And they look comfortable, as Prada sandals always do. If I do get them I know my husband will mock them.

2. I liked this piece, via Vogue UK, about Sienna Miller’s handbags over the years. I love her style.

3. Speaking of Prada, I liked this profile, via Harpers Bazaar, of Miuccia Prada musing on Miu Miu.

4. I thought this was an interesting deep dive, via the NYT, into the social life of Elon Musk.

5. This week, I read The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning, by Margareta Magnusson.

Honestly I’m surprised I haven’t read this already as it’s right up my alley. There’s a part of me that kept thinking I had read it before as I was reading, and I’m not sure if it’s just because I’m so familiar with this content. HOWEVER I really enjoyed it and it was a reminder to keep light, and buy less stuff. And the writing is so charming. If you’re looking to reduce your closet, or lighten the amount of stuff in your household, I highly recommend The Gentle Art of Swedish Death Cleaning.
