Weekend Update

Sale PSA: Puffy sandals from Prada, now $462, twin buckle sandals from Everlane, now $75, and a wrap linen dress from Reformation, now 30% off.

1. This week, sharing this Savette hobo bag.

It’s quite beautiful, no? This brand has crept and crept and crept on me. Their designs are so elegant! Reminds me of The Row but with a little Hermes influence. The price though. I would love this in navy.

2. Sharing this long and excellent article, via NY Mag, about the crash of 3AC. Wow the sheer gall! Singapore friends please share the gossip!

3. I loved this piece, about Eileen Fisher’s retirement, via the NYT. I love Eileen. What a legend.

4. A very funny, scathing review of Jared Kushner’s upcoming memoir, via the NYT’s critic Dwight Garner. This is an excellent review.

5. This week, I read I’m Glad My Mom Died, by Jennette McCurdy.

I loved this book! I know it has a sensationalist title but I think it was the perfect one, honestly. One of the best memoirs I’ve read for some time, nuanced and intelligent and heartfelt. If you’re looking for a memoir and/or have any interest in the Hollywood ecosystem, I highly recommend I’m Glad My Mom Died.

You have excelllent taste and I’d love to get your thoughts on this: I’m looking to buy a designer bracelet, something around $6k. Debating between the Cartier Love, Bulgari Serpenti, or Van Cleef Alhambra. Also open to other options– thank you!!

Hmm!! If you want to wear everyday: Love. If you want to have something pretty that you can easily take off: VCA. If you want to have something unique that is less common: Serpenti!

I’m a big fan of Savette; very UTR, minimal, and beautifully made. I opted for their pochette. Very nice.
