My Book! Is Out!

Well technically my book is out tomorrow (all traditionally published books in the US come out on Tuesday) but I think Monday is close enough! And plus I do my posts on Monday as you know.

Thank you all for being here with me. I have to admit that I’m looking forward to the rest of the week – to just having the book out there and the self promotion done with (kind of…a few more bits and pieces likely coming at you). I think almost any creative would say that you already put so much of yourself into your work…it’s hard to come up with things to say about it that aren’t already in your creation.

I know I’ve said this before and that I may sound like a broken record. But writing has been one of the great privileges of my life. The experience of being edited, of working with professionals on material you’ve created and discussing how to make it stronger, more compelling – for me, that experience has been even more thrilling than actually getting published. Because how often in our busy lives do we actually get to be creative, and then work to refine it?

I’ve received emails, messages, DMs from many of you who have a creative dream. Please pursue it! I’m rooting for you, truly. More to come on this topic soon.
