Fall 2020 Wishlist

Sale PSA: A very pretty, simple midi dress from Vince, now $135, the ultra light down vest from Uniqlo, now under $40 (I know it’s likely super hot where you are but this is a great price and you’ll need it in a few months), my favorite open blazer from J.Crew, now under $80 with code BYESUMMER, and for any parents still keeping up with buying back to school supplies, Target currently has a bunch of stuff on sale.

Hello! How were your weekends? Ours were (are) HOT, and if you were in SoCal I know you were hot too! I hope you all stayed relatively cool this weekend either at home or somewhere else. Ironically, as I was inside with AC most of the weekend, I started to put together my fall (!) wishlist. Here are some items that I’ve been eyeing, at least a few of which I’ll be getting in the coming months:

I really love this Madewell sweater. I have a thing for polo sweaters! And especially in merino. I got one from J.Crew on super clearance a few years back and love it – have been looking for a version ever since, and this is precisely the color I’ve been waiting for. Getting this one for sure.

Everlane Breton Tee ($38). I like the length, like the color and stripes (WHY is it so hard to find a black/white breton), like the width of the stripes, the drop shoulder, etc. I will get as soon as my size comes back in stock.

Lunya silk pajama set, $258. Actually I need your opinion. Have any of you tried Lunya? I got a cotton set a long time ago which I wore and liked but struggled to find a real difference with Gap Body, to be honest. But these silk ones look noticeably different luxe. Won’t I look fancy fighting with the iPad to restart the various distance learning apps with these! Do any of you have personal experiences with Lunya?

Loewe Mini Puzzle, $1980. Am I five years too late on this one? Yes but I still want one! Puzzle owners please let me know how you like yours! I’m thinking about the small size. I was waiting for a new color that I like but I still haven’t found one I like more than the classic tan.

Oblio Wireless Charger/UV Cleaner: I know, a tech item! I’ve been trying to clean up my “everyday living space” though and one thing that’s been driving me crazy are all the chargers, headphones, etc. And, in Covid times, who doesn’t want a cleaner phone? I’m tired of mine smelling like Clorox and plus those wipes are precious.

What is on your wishlist for fall? And for those celebrating, have a wonderful Labor Day holiday!

My list is very small this year. I would like the garment dyed Demi boot crop pants in honey brown and slate by JCrew. From Talbots I’d like the blue double breasted blazer. I’d like the infinity pendant and chain from David Yurman in 18k. I also want a vintage Nobless ring also by DY. It’s in Onyx , diamonds, silver and gold.

My list is very small as well. In lieu of pretty leather handbags, I’ve found myself gravitating to Lesportsac bags. I’ve been stocking up on their washable purses, clutches, totes, you named it! Wipes are precious and these items come out of the washer as good as new. Plus the vibrant prints and colors really cheer me up. I did get a UV device cleaner but a part of me still cringes if I see a smudge on my phone so I’m double disinfecting with alcohol wipes which totally defeat the point! One item that I am definitely eyeing is a cashmere coat that I intend to wear around the house to feel normal! Theory has some good bargains right now but a MaxMara piece is definitely on my list.

I’m 5’1” and a proud Puzzle owner in tan. Love the colour, so classic. Literally goes With everything and everywhere. The only other color I considered was the Navy. But there’s something abt the tan… I find the small a great size because of our height. Anything larger just overwhelms petite frames. I thought it looked awkward when I tried them on. And the small will fit all your daily essentials – very roomy. And it’s gone everywhere with me – the office, the markets, cocktails… you name it. Works in every setting except formal (of course).

I second lesportsac. I think uniqlo makes really great and super cheap plus sturdy nylon bag ( cough cough herve chapelier wannabe). Recently I bought both the small tote ( after happily been using the big one for months) and swapped the rather flimsy tote with my lesportsac’s adjustable one one. Very very happy with it.
All my leather bags are tucked nicely in my closet and guessing will be a while till I get to use them normally. Having organized them also makes me realized that maybe I have more than enough.

I’ve purchased several of the washable silk Lunya pajamas and they are a definite upgrade from my usual old tshirt sleepwear! There is a nice weight to the silk– it’s not thin or flimsy… it feels substantial and luxurious. And the best part is that you can throw them in the wash!

Ooo, I have been wanting to try out Lunya silk items. I constantly see ads on Instagram, but given the price point haven’t actually purchased. I’m also intrigued by the Misha Nonoo ‘Husband’ shirt. That is at the top of my fall shopping list.

I own the puzzle in size small . For a neutral the tan is nice but I have also seen it in a nice oatmeal and grey colors! It’s very well made and very roomy with the best zipper. I use mine with a removable wide strap which I purchased separately!! If you like the lindy you would like the puzzle too.
