1. Sharing today my latest purchase – this excellent plant pot!

I love this lady. And it would go perfect with the air plants I mentioned last week, no? I’m in a greenery phase and need fun things in my house to look at without spending a bunch of money on furniture. Enter, this excellent pot. I only wish the smaller size was in stock. And the price is great, especially on sale!

2. A truly infuriating piece via Variety by Leonard Roberts, who starred in the first season of “Heroes”, and the racist behavior he encountered including from his co-star, Ali Larter.

3. Sharing this piece, via The Hollywood Reporter, on the implosion of Johnny Depp. It’s crazy!

4. Another (!!) rage inducing article, via Texas Monthly, about what wedding photographers have gone through during the pandemic. Okay no actually, this is crazy.

5. This week I’m reading The Unconsoled, by Kazuo Ishiguro.

This book is hard. It’s simultaneously so beautifully done (Ishiguro has a freaking NOBEL!) and also frustrating. There’s a sort of melancholy that hangs over the entire thing and a sense of unreality…which of course is deliberate but it’s also not necessarily escapism, reading it in these times. If you are an Ishiguro fan I suspect you’ve already read this, but if not, I highly recommend The Unconsoled.

Ali Larter’s apology is blackout-rage inducing. If there’s karmic justice in this life, she’ll get hers.

Dear lord I didn’t even know she apologized. It isn’t really an “apology” the articles should not label it as such. The more I think about it the more angry I get too!
