1. Lately I’ve been very into smocked dresses – I wanted to share this well priced gingham one.
It has everything I like – the ability to be on the shoulder! Smocking! Slits! The perfect midi length! I love dresses but as a result am super picky so when I find one I like I will share.

3. I’ve been meaning to share this NY Times obituary of Lee Radziwill for some time. What do you think of it’s tone? A little snarky, no? And wow Lee was so stylish.

5. This week I read The Shell Seekers, by Rosamunde Pilcher.
I love this book. It’s a classic, and apparently was a huge seller when it came out in 1987 – I came across it by accident and immediately from the first few pages knew I’d love it. A family saga set in the UK, centered around a painting called “The Shell Seekers” – you’ll just have to read more to find out the rest. If you liked books like The Thorn Birds, I highly recommend The Shell Seekers.

The diversity of the situations presented, and how the individuals handled the various amounts, was eye-opening to me. It made me realize how financially conservative I am, and left me wondering how I ended up with my mind set.
