I hope you all had a nice weekend! I did some light shopping and watched the HBO movie “Game Change” which I thought was quite good. Did anybody else see it?

I have always had a thing for parkas and utility jackets, but it seems like these past few seasons there have been so many good ones available. It’s actually a bit confusing for me, as I’d like to buy all the nice ones I see, but then don’t want to end up with a whole wardrobe of them. I actually just received in the mail another parka for next winter, clearly I need to take a break!
Does that ever happen to you – when a trend/item you love comes back into fashion, and all of a sudden the items that you had to hunt and search for become available everywhere, at every price point? Do you snap a bunch up? There are definitely seasons that come when almost nothing interests me as well.
Would love to hear your opinions!
You seriously have the best shoes, ever. I'm just starting out in my career, so they're a little out of my budget, but I'd love to have a shoe wardrobe like yours one day – oh, and did I mention I'm also super jealous of your bags? So. Jealous.

I've been wanting to watch Game Change it looks like it would be interesting. I totally know what you mean by items coming back and being all price points, while I like that they are back I can't resist buying new versions of things I already love.

There are SO many good parkas out right now… Club Monaca, for example, has a ton of great pieces. Sometimes I get annoyed because it took so long to search for that perfect item (for me it was a trench coat) and then suddenly they were EVERYWHERE. Love the dress, Katherine!

In my case I love anything floral… so every season I try not to buy but end up buying so many. When I checked my closet I have so many floral skirts and dresses I'm still looking for floral sweater!
