Two Gray Sweaters – Eileen Fisher, Everlane

I recently picked up two gray sweaters that I wanted to share while the weather is still cold – these were both very utilitarian purchases, wear everyday and stay warm and not feel like it’s tight or itchy, which are my main purchasing criteria these days. I wear both of these all the time!

Everlane: Square cashmere v-neck cardigan, $150

I should have reviewed this a while ago, I am sorry! Some of the very small sizes are sold out now but they do come back in stock sporadically if you check. This is one of my favorite schlubby day wears, a simple v-neck cardigan but it’s cut quite open so layers very well and is a more cropped, flattering length. Also, I have to state that my husband dislikes it, it’s one of those sweaters that has a more “architectural” cut which confuses him (why is it loose? but short? blah blah blah). But I love it and there are lots of chic, expensive looking details like the little slit at the edge of the sleeves, and the cashmere is good quality (I’ve had mixed experiences with the Everlane $100 pieces).

Also – I am 5’1 and I took an XS. I rarely take XXS in tops as I have broader shoulders.
