I found this old Y & Kei top from a long time ago the other day (I think 05 or 06?) while digging through a bunch of clothes at my mom’s house. It makes me happy to rediscover clothes from a long time ago, especially if I can still wear them out in public without shame (the same cannot be said about all those old Abercrombie tiered mini skirts that I found. You all know what I’m talking about!)
Y & Kei blouse (similar here)
Sportmax jacket (similar here at great price)
BDG jeans (similar here, here)
Louboutin pumps (similar Loubs here, more affordable option here)
Balenciaga bag (here)
In other random news, yesterday I watched the film “Goodbye, Lenin” which I’d recommend to everybody. It’s a foreign film about a boy whose mother goes into a coma right before the fall of the Berlin Wall (they live in East Germany). She wakes up after the Wall has come down, but to prevent shock to her heart, he decides to try to make as if they are still living in a Communist society. Really quite funny, touching and shows how life was in a Europe that no longer exists. Highly recommended!
I also did laundry yesterday and managed to dye an entire load of whites pink, due to a red Louboutin dust bag that accidentally got caught in the laundry load. A photo of the carnage here – one of my husband’s favorite white shirts:
I already ordered him a few replacements with the current J.Crew promotion. Please learn from my lessons people: always double check the washing machine load!
Have you ever had any major laundry catastrophes?
