Veep Season 2: The Wardrobe

Earlier back I reviewed season one of one of my favorite shows, Veep, as part of my wardrobe recap series. Today we’ll be diving right in to season two!


First up – a red long sleeved shift dress, flattering and of course very appropriate and conservative. You can find a similar one here (in more of a magenta tone) from Tahari. I chose this picture though more to show you Julia’s gold Cartier watch, since I know her jewelry was a favorite for many of you.

Veep 2x1

Making a public speech. Julia’s wardrobe is all pretty pricey but this coat to me looks very similar to the J.Crew “Lady Day” version.

In a darker, conservative suit. You see her bag again, which we first saw in season one. It’s the Lanvin quilted “Happy” bag.

In a super office chic outfit, with a white silk blouse, thick patent black belt, and patterned pencil skirt.

For white blouses, I still love Equipment’s slim signature versions. As for the belt? I don’t think anyone makes statement belts better than Alaia.

The pearls are from Mikimoto’s “Pearls in Motion” line.
