Recent Purchases – Olivia von Halle, Elizabeth Suzann, Fleur du Mal

Hello! Sharing some of my recent purchases of the last few weeks, including some favorites and sale buys!

Elizabeth Suzann Polly Crop. A crop top! I never thought. But I’ve been buying a lot more high waisted pants/shorts lately, and I’m stumpy to begin with, so the crop is my friend. I love this top. It’s the perfect length to pair with her pants and I think makes me look more proportioned. The linen is easy to care for and is super light and breezy for the summer. I’m already thinking of another.

Do note – if you don’t wear with high waisted pants you will show some skin, and when I raise my arms in this outfit, some skin shows too.

Olivia von Halle Millicent Pajamas. These were 70% off. Yes, 70%! Because the brand starts off expensive, let’s be clear, and even these PJs ship in this really swanky gift box. Actually once I saw this box I thought these would make an excellent gift. I love good pajamas and have always wanted some Olivia von Halles but her pants are long and I am short and I don’t want to pay for hemming. When I saw this set in this print I jumped on it. There are tons of Olivia von Halle on sale at NAP by the way, at great prices. I’m thinking of these but don’t want to be greedy.

My one complaint – the pants are half stretch, half button up. So it’s a bit more trouble to take them off and on.

Everlane Easy Chino shorts. I love, love these. Big fan. Just the right length, crispness, looks great with a t-shirt tucked in. Wear these all the time. And they have pockets. And the price is right. Yes they are off center in my photo. In almost all my photos my children are veering dangerously close to the tripod.

Fleur du Mal Silk Jacket and Silk Pants: Okay so I probably purchased this after too many viewings of Real Housewives. I’ve always loved that sleek “outside pajama” look and so wanted to try it out. I really like this set! It’s comfortable and sleek and I felt good. The jacket is 60% off and can be worn on it’s own. Note that it is pretty low cut (the jacket attaches with a button and a sash on top) so you might need a black lacy bra or something.

The pants are 50% off and have a great detail of black piping down the back of legs, which makes them a little more special. Really comfortable too. Like with the Olivia von Halles above, they aren’t just a simple elastic waist but attach with a clasp closure. I am likely returning this set – in a past life I’d keep them, but given my lifestyle I wouldn’t get the wear.
