A Week of Outfits

Okay, I must apologize since because I am burnt out (daylight savings with children didn’t help) and unprepared for a new post today, I am resorting in this post to sharing three outfits that I wore last week. I have to confess that lately whenever I go out in a non-fleece outfit I usually snap a photo to make sure it’s okay, but I never share the photos, even on Instagram, because I usually get dressed before I do my makeup and plus my room is a mess. HOWEVER it is Sunday night and I find myself without a post for tomorrow, so without further ado – here are three outfits I wore last week! None of them have shoes (because I didn’t think I’d be sharing with you!!) and please excuse my general unkemptness but here we go:

First: Elizabeth Suzann top and pants.

Elizabeth Suzann Florence Pants, Elizabeth Suzann Georgia Top

First – this outfit is my jam! Both pieces are silk, it is so comfortable, and light as air. Truly like wearing pajamas. I wore this as my “at home” outfit when we had some friends for a late dinner (usually I wear leggings and hoodie but I’ve been trying to improve). I love the pants especially and if only they didn’t get wrinkled after a while but I’ve found if you hang them it’s better. Elastic waist, baby.

Club Monaco top, Elizabeth Suzann Florence pants

Second – another pair of Elizabeth Suzann Florence pants, this time in linen. I told you that I am very into Elizabeth Suzann! Paired with an old Club Monaco tee. I wore a coat over this (my Max Mara from The Real Real mentioned here!) and my favorite booties but they didn’t make the picture. But my fuzzy slippers did.

Zara jumpsuit, Nicholas Kirkwood heels

Finally, a short Zara jumpsuit and Nicholas Kirkwood heels for a fundraiser for the San Francisco library. The dress code was “literary festive” which was highly confusing and I wanted to wear a fun Stella McCartney dress but worried it would be too bright so in the end I went with this, paired with an Hermes mini bolide, also black (not pictured).

Also: I love these Kirkwood heels because they are so comfortable and would 100% recommend them! My true size is 36.5 but I took a 37 in these which are my Kirkwood size. They are a few years old but I did some resale sleuthing for you – you can find them here (size 9.5), here (size 10), here (size 9), here (size 8), here (size 9 – these are my exact ones, with a slightly lower heel), here (size 7), and here (size 8)

I love the last outfit especially, and hmmm, going to have to really consider the Kirkwood heels next paycheck since you so kindly linked them in my size and endorsed them as comfortable!
