Sale PSA: Fendi cat eye sunglasses, now 40% off (there’s also a lot of other great sale options, like these Dime II versions, now under $50, and Olivia Palermo x Westward Leaning, 40% off), an Alexander Wang leather guitar strap (anyone have a black Kelly with palladium hardware?) now 40% off, a pretty lace dress from TRYB, now $156 (an underrated brand that I first saw in Maui – beautiful resort styles), and a classic brown leather moto jacket from VEDA, now 40% off.
Happy Memorial Day! I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend. I actually did quite a lot of late night shopping this sale season. Usually I wait until items actually arrive to photograph and give a review, but I understand the feedback that stuff may be sold out by then. Here’s what I picked up – please share yours!
Leith Midi Dress: I have this dress in black (see here), and find it comfortable and easy to wear, so I picked it up in white when I saw it on sale. I think it would look amazing on anyone taller than 5’5, but shorties can wear as is or hem a little bit. I also like that the material is quite thick, so the dress isn’t see through. Worth a try, especially at the sale price!
J.Crew High Waist Tie shorts: I love these shorts! Since I have a long torso I think I look better in high waist shorts, but I often have trouble finding cute pairs. I bought the pink and would have also picked up the black but they were sold out. I think they’ll work with a variety of tops and the reviews are great.
Raey Leopard Blanket Coat, 30% off: I have been on the hunting for a leopard coat for YEARS. I still haven’t found my perfecto one. I’d eyed this one earlier when it came out, full price, but the smallest size was sold out. A wonderful friend alerted me that it was now on sale, and I saw that my size was back! Don’t you love it when that happens? I’m still worried it will be too large as it’s an oversized fit, but worth a try. I love shopping at Matches, it’s my new Net-A-Porter.
SEA Eyelet Dress: I generally love the brand SEA and always eye their goodies but a lot of their pieces tend to be too long/flowy for me. This dress I thought would be a good candidate as a piece totally wearable but still with a unique feminine detail.
And then for those looking for a great denim jacket option – this isn’t a sale piece but I’ve tried soo many denim jackets and love this one! It’s from Zara. I took an XS and it fits perfectly (I think). $50 full price so I think worth a try.
