. Since the weather has already been reaching the 70s here in the Bay Area, I’ve been doing some advanced spring shopping. Here are some of my keepers for the upcoming season…please share what you’re planning on adding!
Figue “Tuk Tuk” Tote. I have a thing for summer totes – they’re usually lightweight, less expensive, and a great accessory to have more fun with (I’m still searching for the perfect woven straw bag, by the way). I’m hopelessly attracted to anything that features pom poms, and had been considering one of these Figue “Tuk Tuk” style bags for the longest time. I finally decided to pull the trigger a few months ago to have a fun tote for spring/summer, and I love it! It’s very well designed, and I love all the little details and the slight hippie vibe. There’s a drawstring closure up top, so that you can keep your belongings more secure if you want, and also an inside zip pocket. So more functional than just your usual totally open woven beach tote.
My specific pattern is now sold out, but I actually prefer this season’s version even more (I’m a sucker for nautical). If I’d been able to trust myself with an all white tote, I probably would have picked up this “Heidi” model instead.
Also, for a much more affordable and fun straw bag for summer, I’d check out Eliza Gran’s totes. Very fun!
PS – I just found this “Evil Eye” version of the Tuk Tuk on sale for 40% off! Continue Reading
