Weekend Update

1. A reader recently asked that I help post some white dresses under $100. White dresses are my absolutely favorite item for summer so I was happy to oblige. Why is there a headless torso in the middle? It wasn’t deliberate, I assure you!

From left to right:
(1) Alexander Wang, $89
(2) Ark & Co, $98
(3) JOA, $78

I love all three dresses above, but probably would wear the Alexander Wang the most.

2. How many of you are wearing fitness trackers now on your wrist? We have at least a few of these devices in our apartment lying around, but I just can’t get myself to use them. The data is always too depressing! I loved this article via the New Yorker, from the always funny David Sedaris about his own experience with the Fitbit.

3. How many times have I posted variations of “How to Dress Like a Parisian” articles on here? It’s a little embaressing, yet I never get sick of them. So here’s another great little slideshow from Elle, about how to dress and style ourselves like our favorite French women.

4. Can I share with you what in my opinion is a highly underrated TV show that’s finally back on the air with Season 2?

The show is Hotel Hell, with Gordon Ramsay. This is a program that any travel lover and especially picky hotel guest would appreciate. And if you’re a fan of reality TV like I am to boot…then you’ll love it. My favorite Gordon Ramsay show and vastly entertaining.

You can watch Season 2 right now on FOX, and all of Season 1 is available via Amazon. The entire first season is $8! Enjoy and please let me know if you’re a fellow fan of this show!

Have a wonderful weekend!

I love the Alexander Wang dress but its white! Do you find them to be too sheer? I have a couple (black and nude color) and in the day light can see my entire shape through them. I layer now!

That’s a good point and I should have mentioned – with white ts I always have to layer a slip under, I haven’t been able to find a white t-shirt dress thick enough otherwise.
