Sometime late Friday I randomly decided that it was time to escape the clutches of the evil Google overlords and to move my entire blog over from Blogger to WordPress. This wasn’t really thought out beforehand and I did have quite a bit of trouble, but by then it was too late – there was no going back. So my apologies if the blog is looking or acting a bit funky – I hope to have things nicely cleaned up and spiffy soon! In the meanwhile – if you notice anything weird (or any other suggestions) please do let me know.
Also, it is a little late for me to be doing this, but please, please those of you who are still using Google Friend Connect – subscribe to me on either Feedburner or bloglovin or something else of your choice, as you won’t get updates anymore. All right, that’s the end of my shameless begging for today!
I was also sick as a dog this weekend and spent most of the time in very ratty pajamas not fit for public consumption. I wore this a few weeks ago to work, boring but I end up in something like this almost every day when I’m in a hurry. These shoes were great and under $100 – I’m trying to put together a review coming up soon on a few pumps and sandals, all under $100!
As always, thanks for reading and for sticking with me through this eventful blog move!

WOW! i love those shoes, they look so “Chanel”, and they are very reasonably priced! Are they as comfortable as the high priced versions?
Hope you are feeling better!
I don’t think your outfit looks boring at all- you look very pulled together. I love the pumps- they’re so very Chanel and dress things up a big.
I only have one pair, but my Corso Como pumps are so comfy.
Hope you’re feeling better, Katherine! I can’t wait to read your next post on affordable heels. I’ve made plenty of painful mistakes with expensive ones so I’m always open to suggestions.
Your outfit is super-cute! Love those pumps …. I’m always looking for inexpensive pumps for work!
Your new blog design in WordPress looks very sleek. I like it!
Congrats on making such a big and brave move! You have certainly reached enough readers that googgle blogspot probably can no longer control the traffic lol
Welcome to WordPress then! My blog is also powered by WordPress, and I’m so glad that my bf told me all its advantages compared to Blogger before I created my blog. I’m sure you will really like it, when you get used to it.
I hope you’re feeling better now, and I’ll be waiting for that post.
You have the most amazing handbag collection!
I’ve been considering moving over to WordPress as well. I think you’ve convinced me, your blog looks great! Also, love the cardigan. You look so put-together, I’d never guess you’ve been sick!
Congrats on gettting out of the clutches of your Google overlords.
I’ve considered moving to wordpress in the past but I was just too lazy to do it!
Your outfit isn’t boring my lovely;-)
Very wise moving over to WordPress.

Hugs from Land Down Under
You are so sweet, thank you Kristine! Hello to you in the land down under
Hope you are feeling better
and it must be quite annoying to move from one site to another. It took me forever to learn how to add little images on the side of my blog, not to speak even to move a site over!!
Hah! No wonder I’ve been sensing some difference when I want to leave a comment. Thank goodness I’ve been following you from Bloglovin from the start so I won’t be having issues in “no updates” =)
Your blog looks clean and neat. Is WordPress better and easier to manage?
So glad you are back. I can see your blog in my google reader now.
Love the shoes BTW, very Chanel indeed.
Love the new site and those shoes!
Hi Kat, I love those shoes. If you didn’t tell me, I would think that they are Chanel. Love the whole look.
congrats on the switch over! love the shoes – you look great!
Congrats on the move
Still love that necklace even though it has been featured so many times
lol thank you! The VCA is one of my faces, you will probably get tired of seeing it if you haven’t already…
sad can’t follow via Google anymore! =( Followed on Bloglovin. Done!
Thank you Jenny!
Now I know the reason why I can’t open your blog sometime within the day and it only resume at night. Just afraid then that is it my computer who has trouble again!! But finally I was able to read your cashmere and red envelope post then. I hope everything will be well with your site. That’s a pretty cardigan by the way.:)
Hey Katherine! I’m looking forward for some tip from yours when you head over my post. It’s about handbag. Your insights will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
I am so happy that you moved to the bright side! I couldn’t be happier with wordpress!
