The perfect t-shirt dress to me is kind of like the perfect t-shirt – there are a lot of them out there, but it’s hard to find the right one for you. After trying a bunch of dresses from brands ranging from Target to Rick Owens, I discovered these C&C dresses and love them. They are the perfect fit, length and cut for me, and you can easily shorten it with a belt. The price is a wee bit outrageous but I live in tees.

These espadrilles were reviewed here and were my most worn shoes in Japan.
Also, I’ve been blogging for over a year now and I have to admit that the “outfit post” is still one that I struggle with. I live in perpetual fear that a neighbor will lunge out of the shadows and laugh at me! I take all my “outfit” photos in literally 20 seconds and then run away.

The color looks great on you and you’re right! The cut and style of the t-shirt dress is perfect on you!
Thank you for your previous post on the Spring Shoe Review. I ended up buying the Corso Como pumps and I’m just waiting in anticipation for them to arrive in the mail.
I hope you like them!
Such a cute and easy to wear dress! The color looks lovely on you!

that was hilarious & cute! I loved your whole, 20 seconds and then run away. haha I definitely laughed out loud
Very cute! Love it!
You look effortlessly chic! I love it.
Love your dress! I’m also a jersey dress fan. You can’t tell your shots are taken so quickly lol! Luckily for me I have 3 little volunteers – who are more my height – instead of a tripod
I’m a huge fan of t-shirt dresses. I own quite a few! Thankfully, the weather is looking up so perhaps I’ll drag mine out. LOL! I always feel so self conscious while having my photos taken. I was so anxious when I managed to drag hubby out to the streets to get a good shot of my new sneakers. I applaud bloggers who can pose, look photogenic in public places – all done with a huge smile and large doses of confidence.
I find that most of tshirt dresses are see through. Is this one different?
You know it’s a “wee” bit see through but not too bad….if you are sensitive to that though I would be a little careful of the light colors
Great way to wear a t-shirt dress. I’d belt it too.
The color and the way it fits you is effortlessly beautiful. The bold and bright color is getting me to flip through my boxes of summer clothes! Crazy how a belt can totally change the outfit!

Love how it looks on you! And I’m the same way with outfit photos, haha.
Keep calm and carry lipstick.
I love those sandals! The perfect cognac brown and the perfect height for staying comfy while walking..I’ll look into those.
Thank you..and yes they are the perfect height for walking! I love your shoe collection, I know you like them looking good while trying to stay as comfy as possible
This looks great on you!! I’m impressed you only take 20 seconds! I feel really self conscious taking pictures outside too, even though I could easily pass for just another tourist on the busy streets here.
A t-shirt dress is so classic and I love polo shirt dresses too!
Ahh I still don’t take outfit posts, but am always itching to start (I would totally run from neighbors too but live in a huge complex!)

You look great! I love the color. And the dress looks so comfortable!
That color is really good on you lady!
Thanks for sharing. The t-shirt dress looks great on you which is cool because they tend to be iffy (too short/too long, too thin/see through, too tight, too lose, etc.).
Can’t wait for posts on your trip to Japan! Welcome back.
I love your outfit post, and i really understand what you mean in reference to people looking it you. I got to a point to where I don’t care and I stare back at the ppl like they are the weird ones. LOL FYI that color and cut looks fantastic on you.
What a great laid-back look! I love the sandals and the dress
I can completely relate to the fear of being laughed at by neighbors. Last week I was trying to shoot pictures on my balcony and my next door neighbor came outside to sit on his. He asked if I was a photographer. I said no and ran inside. So embarrassing!
The color and the cut look perfect on you!
Haha you have an amazing sense of style AND a great humor. I just love your blog, what else can I say (well, maybe that I wish I would be living in California instead of Paris, so that I could be wearing sandals and light dresses all year long).
Very cute!
You look adorable! I love the T-shirt dress on you. Simple and chic.
What?! How can that be Katherine? If anything I would imagine your neighbors would want to be like “how DO you come up with all of these fab outfits???”
What a pretty t-shirt dress! Love to see you wearing bright color. Your complexion suits well with it.Hope to see more of you in your outfit photo most especially this kind.
I love every bit of your outfit! I’ve never heard of C&C, but love that this dress comes in so many colours.
Just FYI, “there’s a lot of them out there” is grossly wrong grammar. (And you make a similar mistake in many other posts.) You are essentially writing “there is a lot of them…” That’s wrong – “is” is for the singular, “are” is for the plural. So it would be “there are a lot of them out there.”
Thank you Margot…I apologize, I never studied grammer officially (that part of the GMAT was hard for me!). I changed it in the post and will try to keep it in mind going forward
ohhh love that t-shirt dress on you! i agree i love C & C for casual everyday wear.. splendid is awesome too!
haha i’m not traveling anymore.. i just went to taiwan for 2 weeks and DC for 3 weeks.. but i haven’t been on blogger much i think because i’m taking a hiatus.. sometimes i feel like giving up on blogging.. haha.. i have very short attention span.. and i think perhaps blogging doesn’t hold the same appeal for me as it did last year when i started blogging… but whenever i think about giving up on blogging i feel that i would surely miss the friendships i’ve developed through it like you for instance :p i can’t wait to see your japan pics hon!!
