These past few days were so warm here in the Bay Area. I was excited to bring out some favorite summer shorts and had a great weekend eating at some fantastic restaurants here (pictures to come soon!). On Sunday I did some window shopping and found a pair of Chanel sunglasses I adored – but they were pretty expensive, so I walked away to think it over. When did sunglasses get to be so much, and have prices like $5XX? It seems like whenever I take a break from buying bags, or shoes, or jewelry, etc – when I come back, the prices make me gulp.

Also I completely forgot, but last week was my one year blog anniversary! A year ago I started Feather Factor for a school project and I never thought 365 days later, there’d be almost one million views or that I’d still be writing the blog and creeping out my neighbors by taking tripod outfit photos outdoors. For that I owe my thanks to you, the readers. Thank you very much for taking the time to stop here because I know there’s a lot else out there that you could be reading. I hope in March 2013 I can celebrate another year, and in the meanwhile if there are any suggestions for the blog – things you’d like to read about, topic ideas, constructive or even slightly constructive criticism - let me know, please. I would so appreciate it. Thank you again 
I have not followed your blog for very long now, only just the past few weeks. I think however that you have a very beautiful and sophisticated style that inspires me in my outfit choices, too. I love reading the interviews you do with all different people because they are unique.
I think you should continue just this way!

Had to laugh at creeping out your neighbors. Goodness knows my neighbors must think I'm crazy when I crouch low in the garden to take photos. They've caught me piling iron chairs on the lawn once so that I could get "that shot"!

- post more entries on food (I'm a foodie!).
