Also a special thanks for all of your sweet comments about Mr. Feather – now I must ask you all to stop now because you are giving him dangerous levels of high self esteem – just kidding!!
So I have a few more posts on Europe but I’m giving you all a break. This weekend I did a quick trip to SF to do some careful prowling of the sale racks but luckily for my wallet didn’t find too much! I received a lot of emails asking for photos carrying my new bag so here it is, for reference it is the 35 size and I am 5’1…the other size I have is a 30 (you can see it in this post).
Also a sad story – for some reason my balcony lamp is the perfect combo of sun + shade + corner security for birds and they constantly like to build little nests up top, only to have them collapse and fall down 
After this happened a few times and seeing broken egg shells on the ground, I now try to chase them away so they don’t build their nest only to have it wrecked. It’s so sad because I would love to have them there, I adore birds! Yesterday I found these two up there, I’d like to think they are monogamous and in love because I live in Hallmark land -
Fly away little birds, find yourselves a more permanent nesting place! Big sniff.

Awww!I love all animals including birds! Give these guys a little bird house, but make it fashionable of course. It should be in the shape of a Kelly bag, hahaha!

As for the birds–have you considered added some sides on top of the lamp that tilt upwards? (Like how kid's bunk beds have rails so they don't fall out.) That way the birds nests wouldn't fall, and you'd get to have adorable birds nearby. It could be a win-win for both of you!

@Anonymous Thank you! You know I get a lot of questions about the 30/35 size so I am thinking that I will do a comparison post one day for everybody – I like 30 for versatility day and night, but if you work/travel a lot, I'd do a 35…
