Hi peoples! Thank you all for the lovely congratulatory messages yesterday. I wore my cap and gown, did the obligatory Asian joyous hand gestures and roasted in the heat for over 2 hours during which I got a nerdy watch tan and about 8 huge mosquito bites. But, I graduated and escaped with my degree! No takesy bakesys!

My dad and I afterwards – I love my dad and he always looks so jolly!

It was SO hot yesterday and I was sweating under that black polyester robe – gross. I couldn’t wait to get it off as soon as possible, here is me fiddling with my sunglasses looking agitated holding my diploma and gown.

I will miss Boston, and miss school – you totally live in a bubble while here and it’s almost a rule that you have to complain about it – “I can’t wait to get out of here and rejoin the real world!” But now that I’m leaving, all I can think is that I would like just a few more days, weeks, months here, in the bubble still. Thank you very much Boston….you are amazing.

  13. Haha sometimes the most annoying part in graduation ceremony is really the heat..mostly wearing cap and gowns. Now reading your post makes me bring back memories of my graduation, the sweat I have while wearing my gown. ( imagine tropical Country..the perspiration that you could get aside from humid weather ) and wearing a double layer, right? Anyway again congrats gurl! Another chapter of your life to be close and new chapter to be open. My best regards!
