I had a hectic day yesterday, driving around everywhere and then a dinner meeting at Tamarine, one of my favorite restaurants in Palo Alto and also where me and Mr. Feather had our first date! It has been raining on and off these last few days which has been driving me crazy because a) I always forget my umbrella, even when I read the weather forecast that morning, and b) I never know what to wear as many of my wardrobe items are enemies of rain and moisture. Yesterday morning it was raining but by night time it cleared up so I wore a favorite work appropriate dress and suede footwear.

Diane von Furstenberg is one of the most versatile designers in my opinion, especially at her price point (and especially when you pick it up on sale). I actually don’t wear a lot of her famous wrap dresses but I like a lot of other designs she produces. A lot of them have fun and special detail (studs, textured prints) like this dress from yesterday, pictures below:

Studs, beads and ostrich feather details

Sheer silk chiffon print over another printed lining

Diane von Furstenberg dress and Jimmy Choo suede boots

Sitting in my kitchen after eating dinner, drinking some tea!

Thanks for stopping by. What are some of your most versatile designers?
